The Rich Center for Autism at Youngstown State University (YSU) recently completed a rebranding effort. Our new look reflects the center for excellence and our commitment toward addressing autism.
The puzzle pieces correspond with the imagery used in the Autism Awareness Ribbon to symbolize the Center’s dedication to autism research on a national and international level. Each of the four puzzle pieces represents a core value of the Center: student-centered, treatment, education, and research. With each value fitted to its complementary components, the Center’s image emerges complete.
The colors in each puzzle piece convey the hope, energy, enthusiasm and joy of our students, parents, counselors and educators. A classic serif font was used in the word mark to emphasize the institutional affiliation with Youngstown State University and the academic research conducted at the center. Named to honor the memory of Paula and Anthony Rich and their unborn child—who were tragically killed in a plane crash—the Rich Center will inspire and give hope to those individuals living with autism, as well as their families.
When your organization references the Center, please use the new logo in your web and collateral materials. If you are in need of an alternative color option, we would be happy to provide you with the appropriate logo and file format.
